Raising money for Stroke Association

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

We are Language is Everything, an interpreting and translation company based in Hull. Our skydiving team is made up of 9 of our employees and we are raising money for The Stroke Association. Our skydive is on Saturday 28th August 2021 and we are doing the event at the Skydive GB Parachute Club in Bridlington.

At Language is Everything we believe in giving back, especially during these challenging times. Choosing The Stroke Association was an easy choice. Covid-19 has had a huge impact on all of us. The Stroke Association report that the recoveries of stroke survivors across the UK have been particularly badly affected. They rebuild lives after a stroke.

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
