We are both going to be completing the 60 Miles in September for Bliss. 1 in 7 babies born in the UK are admitted onto neonatal units each year, and in April my lovely daughter Violet became part of that statistic. Violet was born prematurely and spent 2 weeks in hospital and a further month under the neonatal outreach team having multiple home visits each week. She is doing so well now and at her latest weight check she was approaching 10lbs- a huge jump from the 3lbs 13ozs she started out as. We’re doing this challenge for her and all the other babies and families who are part of that 1 in 7💜
