This April, the London Buddhist Centre is delighted to be supporting Guhyaloka (The Secret Valley) - the men's ordination retreat centre in the mountains of southern Spain.

At the LBC, we know how important ordination can be. It marks a profound commitment to practicing the Dharma within a spiritual community, for the benefit of all beings.

For the last 40 years, Guhyaloka has provided ideal conditions for men to make this commitment, deepen their practice, and create lifelong friendships that will sustain them in the years ahead.

But right now, Guhyaloka really needs help.

The 'Guhyaloka For The Ages' campaign is raising funds for essential improvements - including a new kitchen, expanded and improved accommodation, and a new shrine room - ensuring it can continue to offer ideal conditions for ordination retreats for generations to come.

From 18-25th April, the LBC will host a week-long series of fundraising events: talks, discussion, candlelit dinners, live music, a triathlon, and a ceilidh. (There are even rumours of a return of The Three Cafe’s Challenge...)
