Supporting literacy and life chances for students at the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools

For the 2025 Personal Giving Appeal we at the Leathersellers are raising money to inspire a new generation of readers. Donations will be matched by the Company and used to fund brilliant new physical and digital literacy resources for over 3,000 pupils in Lewisham, from nursery to Sixth Form.

Evidence shows reading has a transformational effect at any age or stage of education, but with so many demands on budgets access to books can suffer. We can make a tangible difference to the literacy, well-being, and social mobility of our students for the next few years with this one-off appeal.
