The Leigh Day team in Leeds will be taking on this year’s York Marathon and York 10 Mile in support of our William Merritt Centre. Sarah Moore will be running the marathon, while Kah Ho and Katie Bohl will be tackling the 10-mile run. We would be hugely grateful for any support, and donations.

The William Merritt Centre (WMC) is a charity providing impartial advice and assessments for people living with disabilities or long-term health conditions.

Our specialist Occupational Therapists carry out independent mobility equipment assessments, including wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other aids, helping individuals find the most suitable solutions to enhance independence, safety and confidence. Following the assessment, clients receive a detailed report with recommendations and information on where equipment can be purchased.

WMC also provides Driving Assessments for people who have experienced a change in health or ability, supporting individuals to understand whether they remain safe to drive and identifying any adaptations that may help them continue driving safely.
