On 26th April a group of over 20 family and friends will be taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk Mighty Stride which will take us along 23 miles of Scotland’s countryside. We will be raising funds for Baby Loss Retreat, a charity set up to support parents and families affected by baby loss. https://babylossretreat.org.uk/ Any amount, no matter how small, will help provide vital support at a time of utter despair especially for the parents.

We are doing this to honour the memory of our beautiful boy Leo who was the much longed for son of Jaclyn and Liam and eagerly awaited arrival to all the family and friends who shared in their joy when he was born.

I will now use the words of Leo’s mum, Jaclyn, as she shared the thoughts and emotions caused by such a devastating loss.

On the 11th July 2025 our darling little boy Leo entered the world, healthy and loved beyond words. Tragically after what was honestly the best week of our lives, his life ended after contracting a rare infection leaving us absolutely devastated and carrying a lifetime of grief and sadness

I intend to carry on a legacy for Leo and find ways to keep his name alive and to accept peace and joy which I hope can exist for us amongst the grief and sadness.

Leo - I love you more than words and will always be so sad that our time together was so short however so unbelievably grateful for the time we had together. 💙🤍
