Luke entered our lives back in 2018. He has been a blessing to us & has truly made us better people. He brings joy to many & his smile brightens up any room. He has made so much progress and we love showing all that he can do on his instagram page (letyourlightshineluke), hence the team name. However, he still has delays and challenges like any other child, but some are more specific to Down Syndrome. We love that we have an organization & a community we can turn to when we need help and support. This will be our first walk since 2019 and we are very excited because Luke will be able to actually walk it this year. We would love your support on one of the most special days for us as a family!

DSAHRC provides parent-to-parent support and professional services to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. While the Buddy Walk helps raise funds for these vital services, it is also an inspirational and educational event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of all individuals with Down syndrome.

Please join the Buddy Walk on September 25 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, share our event, or help us fundraise by making a donation of $25 or any amount, in celebration of our Walk's 26th Anniversary.
