Raising money for University College London Hospitals Charity UK

For 30 years patients and staff have been choosing to support Haematology Cancer Care because we help the Haematology Service deliver transformational treatment and personalised care at UCLH.

Story

Welcome to the team page for Leukathon UK - helping our friend fight leukaemia through blood, sweat and tears!

As you know, our mate Luke Chapman is battling leukaemia and so, in a nutshell, there are three ways you can help:

1. Blood - for those in the UK, sign up to donate blood through NHS - Give Blood;

2. Sweat - support one of the Leukathon UK team members with some hard earned cash donations by clicking through to the team member fundraising pages and hitting donate; and

3. Tears - why not become a team member yourself? Dream up a challenge, however big or small, and help fundraise for Haematology Cancer Care, the charitable arm of the blood diseases service at UCLH.

Luke's friends and family around the world are pulling together to support him - check out more details on blood, sweat and tears here or at www.leukathon.com.

All monies raised here will go exclusively to supporting Haematology Cancer Care (HCC), the charitable arm of the blood diseases service at UCLH. Some more s from them: over the last 26 years patients and staff have chosen to support Haematology Cancer Care because it helps the Haematology Service deliver transformational treatment and personalised care at UCLH. Its strong community of patients, families and staff are committed to supporting haematological cancers through fundraising activities and events. Uniquely, HCC is run by senior clinical staff working closely with all haematology teams and haematology patients ensuring donations make a significant impact on the services at UCLH. HCC provides wide-ranging support including high-tech medical equipment and research projects, free complementary therapy for patients and families and specialist education for nurses across five inpatient wards, day-care, ambulatory care and young adult and outpatient services.
