Join us in supporting The Giraffe Project, a charity which for 20 years now has helped build and run three schools for children in the slums of Nairobi. Levke has supported Giraffe since its founding in 2005 by two former teachers at the European Schools in Brussels. Peter joined her later, as he was so impressed by the achievements the project has had over the years, including building a second primary school and then a secondary school. A number of the Giraffe children (the stories at this link are great!) have gone on to college, an incredible achievement for someone from the poorest parts of the city. Having also sponsored several individual students, we have had a real opportunity to watch them grow. The Giraffe Project brings a very real, and meaningful, improvement in the lives of these young people, and we hope you can help us help them, especially as they celebrate their 20th anniversary.
