This year, as friends and family of darling Lis Shepherd, we are raising funds for North London Hospice.

We will never forget the kindness and care the hospice showed mum. Nothing was too much trouble. The nurses, doctors and other staff made mum as comfortable as she could be in her last weeks. We are so grateful and want others to have this care as they reach the end of their lives.

The Big Fun Walk is an important event for the hospice because all the services it offers are provided completely free. With only 30% of funding coming from the NHS, the hospice relies on donations from the community to raise over £16 million each year.
