Event: Children's Activities Week 2023, from 15 May 2023 to 21 May 2023
In classes all over the country thousands of people come together to take part in fun activities to help raise awareness and fundraise to help disabled children.

Story

Little Learners teachers across the UK will be raising money for Children's Activities Week by providing flying themed classes and also taking part in our big sponsored mark make for children under 5!

Please sponsor our Little Learners across the UK for our 'Big Sponsored Mark Make!'. During Children's Activities Week, the children in each of our classes will take part in a sponsored mark make! Our Little Learners will have 5 minutes to make as many marks as they can with a variety of resources such as paint, pens, crayons, chalk, messy play and more!! So please sponsor your little one here! We will then be taking a photo of the end result from each class to show you all :-)

What is Little Learners?

Little Learners is a multi award-winning children’s activity provider which offers educational messy play classes for babies to preschoolers. It was created and founded by a qualified primary teacher who designed an innovative mark making programme following the journey of four fun characters – ‘The Mark Makers‘. Children focus on one character each week at Little Learners messy play classes.

Messy play, painting, play dough, scribbling, dance and more are used to encourage children to mark make and learn early writing skills through play. Classes, parties and events are offered and Little Learners also undertake work in schools and early years settings.

At Little Learners your child will be encouraged to use hands, fingers, feet and toes to make marks which will help to strengthen their core muscles and develop their gross and fine motor skills. These skills are vital for holding and controlling a pencil and letter and number formation when they reach school age.

Our aim is to make writing fun and encourage every child to MAKE THEIR MARK!
