I'm raising money for a brilliant charity called Red Balloon which supports children who are too frightened to go to school because of bullying, mental health problems and/or other trauma in their lives.

I was particularly struck by Daniels story on Red Balloons website. He was so badly bullied at his secondary school that he suffered post traumatic stress disorder, and spent a year in a psychiatric hospital. Luckily, his mother found Red Balloon and Im pleased to say that Daniel went on to thrive and is now at university. There are apparently 16,000 children missing from school because of bullying or trauma and they desperately need Red Balloon's help. Thats why Im challenging myself to the Red Balloon Ride. Together with others, were aiming to cycle 25,000 in June, to raise £25,000. So will you sponsor me please? Your generosity will go keep me motivated!
