Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance is Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service. We rely on public support to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland. No one in Scotland should die because help can't get there in time. Alan will celebrate his 75th birthday in June this year and, to celebrate, he will swim 75 lengths—or 1500m—to raise funds for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance. Living in a rural island community means that this charity is essential to save lives by getting patients to the big hospitals in Scotland's central belt.
