Ten colleagues across the Logson Group have signed up to take part in a gruelling 10 mile Tough Mudder 20+ Obstacle course in aid of raising money for Breast Cancer UK and Cancer Research UK.

For the 10 of us in the team, the challenge of completing 10 miles across rough terrain with over 20 obstacles will be a real feat ! However, this is nothing compared to the challenge faced by far too many people who have had to deal with cancer. Unfortunately, most people have been or will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives, either personally, through family, friends or co-workers. This is certainly the case for several members of the team and we wanted to do our bit to raise money and awareness for these two great charities.

Breast cancer being the most common type of cancer found in the UK and being a cause close to our hearts – Breast Cancer UK raises awareness of the preventable risk factors, campaign for policy change to support prevention and fund scientific research to help improve our understanding of how to stop the disease.

Thanks to supporters like you, Cancer Research UK has pioneered work into how to prevent, diagnose and treat all types of cancer, and has benefitted millions of lives over the past 120 years.
