Our newly fledged LSBU Therapeutic Radiography Society has committed to travel as great a distance as possible between 1st July and 3rd October in order to raise money for the charity Action Radiotherapy. Whether it be walking, running, cycling, swimming (or anything else you can think of!), we're going the extra mile to support the future of radiotherapy in the UK... And we need your support!

Unfortunately, up to 1 in 4 of us are going to need radiotherapy treatment at some point during our lives. As therapeutic radiography students we think it's vitally important to work together to continue improving the quality of this treatment for both patients and staff. Action Radiotherapy are the UK's only charity dedicated to improving radiotherapy treatment. The aim of the #miles4radiotherapy challenge is to bring the radiotherapy community together to get moving and raise some money so the charity can keep working towards improving radiotherapy services throughout the UK.
