Why am I doing this?! I must be mad, as most of you will know covid has left its mark on me so running is even harder. However, I need to do something to acknowledge the first class care my Dad received from St Bart’s hospital after a heart attack and major heart surgery, his recover has been very complicated and without their care, dedication and knowledge I hate to think what situation we would be in now. I also need to acknowledge the amazing work of British Heart Foundation not only for the issues mentioned above for Dad, but having my own condition diagnosed and treated. We are so lucky to have the wonder NHS and this is my small way to say a huge thank you to you all! 💜💜xx
