Velindre's ambition for the future is to enhance the lives of cancer patients, carers, and families in Wales by funding innovative projects and services that extend beyond NHS provisions. My wife Lynda Meyrick was diagnosed with bowel cancer in Nov 2025 and passed away before she could benefit from the treatment she had started to receive. Nonetheless we firmly believe that Lynda would have wanted to help those who come after her to receive treatment that will help them.
