Story
We’re taking on the challenge of a lifetime — trekking to Machu Picchu — to raise vital funds for The DPJ Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of those working in agriculture and rural communities.
Founded in memory of Daniel Picton-Jones, The DPJ Foundation provides a lifeline to individuals facing the unique pressures of farming life — from isolation and financial stress to the emotional toll of the industry. Through a 24/7 confidential helpline, counselling services, and practical support, the charity works tirelessly to break stigma and ensure no one in the agricultural community struggles alone.
This trek is especially meaningful as it marks the 10-year anniversary of the foundation. Among those taking part is founder Emma O’Sullivan, alongside 15 other incredible individuals — each bringing their own personal story, motivation, and connection to the cause. For many, this journey is about more than just reaching the summit; it’s about honouring loved ones, raising awareness, and making a tangible difference.
Together, we’ll push our limits across one of the world’s most iconic trails, united by a shared goal: to support mental health in rural communities and ensure help is always within reach.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps The DPJ Foundation continue its vital work. Thank you for supporting us every step of the way.
