Maddi and I will be walking 26 miles in order to raise money for alzheimer's. I sadly lost my Grandma to this disease after she suffered for many years. I would love to raise money in her memory and to help the thousands of people struggling. As a child, my grandma was my best friend and slowly watching her fade was the most difficult journey. My family likes to remember her as the caring soul she once was before she was impacted.

My nana Joyce was diagnosed with Alzheimer's around 2 years ago. The past 2 years have been some of the hardest but have also been full of so much love. Alzheimer's may take a lot from us but it will never take away the love me and all my family have for our Joycey, she is the funniest person in the world and continues to put a smile on my face every time we speak. I would love to raise money for my Joyce as well as to support all those families who are also going through what we are.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
