The 492d Fighter Squadron had a wild dream that a few of our members would try and tackle a 24 hour challenge by hiking the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. This is considered one of Britain’s toughest outdoor challenges, the National 3 Peaks Challenge takes in the dizzy heights of Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m) around 26 miles. We are supporting the Dreams Come True UK Charity.

Dreams Come True is a national children's charity, whose mission is to enrich the lives of children & young people with serious and life-limiting conditions, by making their dreams come true. This generates feelings of security & happiness, for children & young people whose lives have been turned upside down. The day to day of everyday life can seem like a mountain to climb, but with a dream a life can be transformed. Even the simplest of dreams can bring a sense of hope and normality.
