We are a close group of 7 friends who met through our love for a fitness class called Clubbercise 🌈💃🌈 We all met just over a year ago through our lovely Clubbercise Instructor Sarah, who has been teaching classes for 7 years. We've all formed a very close friendship, which consists of 7 individuals, of different ages and varied fitness levels.

Over the last 6 months, we have decided to set ourselves the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon. Pray for us! hehe :)

We are climbing Mount Snowdon on the 9th of August to raise money for Magpas Air Ambulance, as many of us in the group have had a number of people close to our hearts that have had to use this service. If it wasn't for this amazing service, then life's may have been lost and we want to give something back which is why we decided on raising money for this charity.

Magpas is a non-profit based charity that relies on donations from small charity events and the generosity of people making donations. The air ambulance service they provide operates 24/7. They cover Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, and the East of England. For more details on Magpas, please see their website: https://magpas.org.uk/.

We started our training for the hike at the start of January 2024 and meet usually 3 to 4 times a week to prepare ourselves for Snowdon. Our training consists of running, walking, the gym and of course, Clubbercise! Needless to say, this has kept us very busy so far this year!

Among us, we have people who suffer from a range of physical and mental conditions such as a rare heart condition called Dextrocardia, which affects the heart, lungs, and other vital organs. There are also some of us that suffer with bowel disorders, Anxiety, PTSD, Vertigo and a fear of heights. So this is not only going to be physically challenging, but also very mentally challenging.
