Story
Hi everyone,
This October, I’ll be running the Manchester Half Marathon alongside two incredible friends, Marcus and Grace, in support of Cancer Research UK – a cause that means everything to me.
My amazing mum passed away last August from ovarian cancer. Losing her has left a hole nothing can fill. I had planned to run the Yorkshire Marathon last year, but it was all still too raw. I wasn’t ready – emotionally or mentally – and I was gutted not to run in her memory.
This year, I’m doing it differently. With Marcus and Grace spurring me on every step of the way, I’m running with determination, with purpose, and with Mum in my heart. We’re taking on this challenge for her, and for everyone affected by cancer – those still fighting, those we’ve lost, and the families who love them.
Please donate if you can. Your support means so much, and every pound raised helps fund life-saving research. Together, we can make a real difference.
Thankyou
