Why are we raising money for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice:

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care is a charity providing care and support for adults and children with a progressive life-limiting illness, in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.  Our patients are supported to live the best quality of life they can through the combination of outpatient, rehabilitation and supportive care services, Hospice at Home and inpatient care that is right for them. We are also here for the families of our patients, ensuring that everyone can receive the right support, helping make every moment together matter.

Michael Donnelly:

"Peace hospice Watford were second to none in caring for our dad in his final few days and weeks. Promptly attending for a home visit once referred, our needs were quickly identified, and a rapid plan put into place to implement them. Most importantly our dad was provided with the comfort and peace he wanted and needed, whilst the rest of the family experienced support and understanding throughout his care there which will never be forgotten" - Michael's son, David.

Jackie Parrott:

"The peace Hospice were very supportive, understanding and compassionate with both Mum, and the whole family, while caring for her in her final few weeks at home. The nurses who came and cared for mum were able to answer questions we all had and help us through the final days with her and ensure she was as comfortable as possible. With their support, mum was able to be in control of her final weeks and pass with dignity and her loving family by her side. Without the peace hospice, none of this would be possible" - Jackie's son, Christopher.
