Story
I’m running the 2026 London Marathon for the MS Society - a charity that’s close to my heart. I’ve started training and I’m determined to do my best, and to do the charity proud.
Every donation, big or small, will keep me going through the dark, cold, winter training runs, the long weekend miles… and right through to the finish line in April.
I’m not doing it alone either - Malc and Frazer (my dad and brother-in-law) are also lacing up their running shoes for the Colchester Half Marathon, helping to raise funds alongside me. I’m proud we’re in this together.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged, causing a range of symptoms like blurred vision and problems with how we move, think, and feel.
MS affects over 150,000 people in the UK. It’s a lifelong condition - but with the right support and research, life with MS can be made better. The MS Society does incredible work to support individuals and families, and to push for new treatments and long-term breakthroughs.
There have been major advances in treatment in recent years - and by supporting the MS Society, we’re helping to keep that momentum going. Your donation gives real hope to people living with MS today - and to the possibility of even greater breakthroughs in the future. Maybe one day, even a cure.
Together we are strong enough to stop MS.
Thank you for being part of it.
