Story
I am taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk this year with my boys.
I'm fundraising for Ardgowan Hospice because without it, the people I care about would have gone through a lot more pain. My aunt Roselin Coyle is a true fighter who's been battling cancer for several years, and the Hospice has been a huge support for her and our family. Sadly, during her fight, her wonderful husband Alex got cancer too and passed away in October. He spent his last moments at the Hospice, where Roselin could be right by his side, which meant the world to both of them. Family and friends were able to visit and say their goodbyes, ensuring Alex was comfortable and at peace—something that wouldn't have been possible in a hospital or at home. This care is really vital. Unfortunately, Ardgowan has faced funding cuts and may have to let staff go and reduce beds, which would be a huge loss. My aunt and many others in our community depend on their care, so we need to do everything we can to keep Ardgowan going.
Thank you for taking the time to read my page and if you can afford to donate anything big or small I really appreciate it 😊
Obviously since I started this post my lovely Auntie Roselin has died. She had donated to this and wanted me to do well. The Hospice cared for her with such love and compassion giving her a bingo afternoon with all her ladies and playing GBX through the night. I can't thank them enough for all they did 💜
