Team Maries March Relay in honor of their mother/grandmother. Marie was one of the many brave participants of relay for life and wore her purple T-shirt with pride. Sadly Marie lost her battle to cancer in 2018 however her support for relay lives on through her family. 2020 was our inaugural entry to Relay for Life and due to Covid we celebrated together but apart with teams around Kildare.

This year we intend on hiking up Church Mountain, Saturday 14th August @ 13:00 in the hope to raise much needed funds for relay for life.

In recent years Relay for Life has become one of the most important fundraisers for the Irish Cancer Society and ''Relay for Life Kildare'' has taken place for over 8 years with enormous success.

Relay is much more than a 24 hour fundraising event, it is an experience that gives hope and support to all who have been impacted by Cancer by celebrating, remembering & fighting back.
