This year, Katharine, Martha and Kathryn from The Balmoral are proud to be running the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow, on the 5th October, in support of our hotel charity, Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC).

ECHC does incredible work to support young patients and their families at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh. While the NHS provides essential medical care, ECHC goes beyond that - funding play specialists, art and music therapy, family support, and specialist equipment to make the hospital a more positive, less frightening place. They help turn clinical environments into bright, welcoming spaces and make sure children facing difficult treatments still get to feel like children.

Every donation will help bring comfort, joy, and hope to families during some of their toughest moments. We’re lacing up our running shoes so these kids can smile, play, and heal - and we’d be so grateful for your support!
