I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in June 2019, a devastating blow especially since I lost my two sisters to cancer in 2016. Luckily for me I received the all clear in April 2020 after extensive treatment. My family and friends were amazing. The care I received from the Macmillan Nurses was also fantastic and really helped me through the tough times. My best friend Linda St John and my daughter's Kirsten Barnes and Lucie Watson pulled out all the stops to support me. So Kirsten Barnes and Linda St John will be joining me on the 13 mile Hike on 17 July to raise the much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Care. ( Lucie would have but she is 8 months pregnant). So please donate as much as you can, the services that Macmillan provide is fantastic.
