Story
The Habitat Annual Walk for Housing is back this spring-- Habitat Newburgh was one of Maureen's passions and her favorite place to volunteer her time. Maureen's family is raising funds in her name for this great cause that creates homes for local families. You can just donate or join our team and walk with us on Sunday, April 23rd at Washington's Headquarters.
We will walk together to raise critical funds for Habitat Newburgh's ongoing builds and raise awareness of Habitat Newburgh's affordable homeownership program and local families' struggles to afford the #costofhome.
On our walk, we will see past accomplishments, ongoing construction, and be reminded of the progress that is possible when we come together to build homes, community, and hope.
The walk begins at Washington's Headquarters (84 Liberty Street, Newburgh). Tentative times: registration begins at 12:00 PM and the walk begins at 1:00 PM.
The Walk is 2.6 miles. A shorter 1.5-mile route is also available.
We hope that you will join us- every step brings a family closer to home.
