Story
On Friday 6 October, we're taking on the challenge of sleeping out to support vulnerable children across the UK. Right now, over 4 million children live in poverty, and with the impact of the cost of living crisis hitting home, they're even more vulnerable. Tonight, many will go to sleep hungry. Some won't even have a warm bed to climb into or a safe space to wake up in.
Action for Children makes sure children have the basics - warm clothes, hot meals, and a proper bed. They can help them recover from abuse and neglect and put support in place for families to protect against it happening. They offer the right mental health support so children can thrive. With your help, we can raise vital funds to help a vulnerable child's dreams of a safe and happy childhood come true.
Here are some examples of how your donations could help:
£45 could pay for gas and electricity for a family for a week
£50 could buy clothes and shoes for a child
£125 could provide a child with a bed
£200 could provide a family with a cooker
Thank you for supporting this cause. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families across the UK.
