Story
Eight brave members of our Meallmore Central East teams are taking on The Kelpies Experience to raise funds for Age Scotland.
Taking place at Helix Park in Falkirk, this unique challenge will see the team climb through a series of aerial obstacles inside one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks, before reaching the horse’s mouth and making their way back down by abseil or Quick Flight descent. It is not just an abseil — it is a full aerial adventure inside the world’s largest equine sculptures.
The team are aiming to raise vital funds for Age Scotland, a charity dedicated to supporting older people across Scotland. Their work helps older people feel valued, connected and supported, including through their helpline, friendship calls, community groups, wellbeing programmes and campaigning work.
At Meallmore, supporting older people is at the heart of what we do every day, so this challenge is a cause very close to us. By taking part, our team hope to raise awareness and funds to help Age Scotland continue making a meaningful difference to older people’s lives.
A huge well done to our eight colleagues taking on the challenge — we’ll be cheering you on every step, climb and abseil of the way.
