About the challenge:

In June, the Auto Trader Finance Team will be walking over 200 miles - from the Covent Garden office to our Manchester office - over the course of 8 days. While completing this enormous challenge, we are aiming to raise £10,000 for two fantastic charities; Macmillan Cancer Support and Alzheimer's Society.

According to the Alzheimer's Society website, 1 in 3 people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. And the NHS states that 1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. Clearly the importance of the work of our two chosen charities can't be overstated and we are proud to support these worthy causes.

For many members of our team these causes are deeply personal, and we are therefore so grateful for any donation you can make. Thank you!

About our chosen charities:

Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that provides vital services to people living with cancer, carries out research into cancer care, and campaigns to achieve better cancer care and support for the cancer workforce.

Alzheimer's Society is a charity that gives essential care and support to help people with dementia to manage their condition. They also provide funding for new treatments and actively campaign for a better life for people living with dementia.
