Our members, staff and volunteers will be taking part in a sponsored walk on 15th May 2025.

We will be doing a circular route starting from Mencap community cottage Crosby to Altcar Training camp, Hightown.

The walk will begin at 10am from the cottage, head along the beach and then along the coastal path making our way to Hightown and then to Altcar Training camp. Here members will have a chance to break or get the train back to the cottage. We will then make our way back to the cottage on the same path apart from we will be heading inland from the coast guard station and along the road back. Due to the tide.

We would like to make this a community celebration. So we will be holding a community fun day at the cottage also.

There will be a bake sale, Garden games and Lots of fun with a great atmosphere.

So why not come down for a tea and cake and let's celebrate our amazing community.

All monies raised will help us keep the members and community projects running.
