Story
Back in August 2018 my dad, Micky Wheelz, was diagnosed with a grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumour. After his official diagnosis he went onto have some radiotherapy unfortunately the tumour was fast growing and after intensive radiotherapy dad passed away at the beginning of November 2018.
On the 27th September 2025, what would’ve been dad’s 71st birthday, we have entered an ultra challenge event & have set ourselves the challenge of walking 50k! What better way to celebrate his birthday than to go on a walk! The pain & mental strength to keep going for 50k is nothing compared to the challenge of a brain tumour.
