Mike had found breathing harder for the last few years, and we realised it couldn’t be fixed.
Last year, he went to Sue Ryder’s Leckhampton Court for a few days of respite care. When he realised going home would be too challenging, Sue Ryder managed to find space for him to stay for longer.

The care that he received from them was incredible - regular visits from doctors and nurses and additional help when he needed it. Sue Ryder staff were also able to guide us through the process of finding a permanent care place.

Our family & friends owe so much to this wonderful organisation and we are hoping that we can raise some much-needed funds for them, in return.
