Miles & smiles for Nanny Jean are taking part in ChelmsfordMemoryWalk2026!

Myself, Jerry, Frank & Blaine will be taking on the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk for our beautiful & wonderful Nanny Jean.

Nan was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia 4 years ago and unfortunately things have progressed suddenly at the end of last year after a fall. We miss our Nan so much, even when I see her everyday, it’s still not the same Nan we’ve always known. She’s of course still here but it’s a new version of her. We was to raise as much money as we can go Alzheimer’s Society as the nurses have been really helpful to my mum and given her guidance. This is the most cruel disease I’ve seen and it’s heart breaking to watch our Nan go through it. It’s been extremely hard for us all but mostly for my poor mum, who has been doing everything and anything she can to look after and help Nan. My mum is just so amazing, just like my Nan.

We would really appreciate any donations to our walk and to help family’s living with this horrible disease.
