Story
Last year I managed to cycle 300 miles over the weeks leading up to Children in Need Night shortly after finishing 5months of chemotherapy. In March this year we found out that the cancer was growing back, and so I restarted chemotherapy in May and finished just a couple of weeks ago. The treatment has gone well and I’m still here! I wanted to join the Rickshaw Challenge again and this year there’s not been much time to get ready. I’ll to try to cover at least 250 miles by 15th November (Children in Need Night) collecting Essex Villages as I go.
To help me on my way a small team of “Milly-Milers” helped me cycle 50 miles on Saturday 9th November, which was a great effort by all: I now have just 11 to go to the 250 mile total.
Another £50 would get us to £2500; can you help break through?
