Miriam's Marchers

Raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young
In memory of Miriam Lee

Heart Of London Bridges Walk 2024 · 23 June 2024 ·

The Bridges Walk provides supporters with the opportunity to connect with others, and remember those who have died from Young Sudden Cardiac Death (YSCD).

Story

We are raising money in memory of Miriam who died, aged 17 of an unexplained cardiac arrest. Miriam was fit & healthy & showed no symptoms. Our walk each year is to honour her memory and raise vital funds for CRY.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
