Raising money for London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and MALARIA NO MORE UK

Story

I work on malaria, a deadly disease that still kills half a million African children a year and infects many more. The deaths are avoidable if we can provide the resources to deliver malaria control and the science to meet the challenges as they arise.

I am cycling to raise funds for both the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine scholarship fund and for Malaria No More. LSHTM, where I work, is one of the best places in the world to train and nurture our future scientists and public health specialists. MNM, for whom I am a scientific advisor, are peerless in their advocacy and energy in raising awareness of malaria at every opportunity.

In will be doing the conventional London to Brighton Ride of 55 miles /88km and then, because I am either very driven or very unhinged, doing a further 67 miles/107km from Brighton to my home in Hythe in Kent.

please sponsor me to help these two exemplary causes

thanks

Chris
