Raising money for Northern Ireland Hospice and The British Red Cross Society

Story

In June 2022, over 20 men from Garden Fields Cricket Club in St Albans will be walking in excess of 110 km along the Ulster Way in Northern Ireland, from Limavady to Ballycastle. We aim to raise in excess of £20K for our two chosen charities - Northern Ireland Hospice and the Red Cross Appeal for Ukraine. We have form in this, having raised over £60K in recent years through long walks on the Isle of Wight, Devon and the famous Ridgeway path across southern England.

We could not undertake a event this year without also supporting the plight of people in Ukraine in these desperate times. And we also wanted to continue our efforts to support hospices local to our walking route, as these have cared for those close to us and provided amazing support for friends and family.

Please give generously to one of these causes - both are very worthy causes and in need of your support! We hope to raise £10,000 for each and we really appreciate your donations. Thank you!
