The Maryland School for the Blind's Outreach department and the MIRC work together in many different ways. Outreach events and MIRC-produced braille educate and support children with vision loss all across the state.

As a group who gets the absolute opportunity to work in the foreground AND background of these amazing programs, we notice the children who attend come out of each program more empowered. We get to see the pictures and read the excited writings about every experience. We get to watch bonds be made. We get to see children come out of their shell to participate and learn! Each and every thing we do to support these rock star children matters.
