labb / Netbuilder fundraising for Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders (MSF)

Raising money for Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders (MSF)

Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

Team labb / Netbuilder ride the Italian Lakes for Médecins Sans Frontières

This July, our team — Tony, Sean, Henry, Harriet, Liz, Emily, Jonathan and Jolly are taking on the 2026 Pega Cycle Challenge, cycling 2–4 July around the Italian Lakes to raise critical funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).

Here's why this ride matters to us.

MSF's medical teams work in over 70 countries, showing up where almost no one else will — war zones, disaster sites, epidemic outbreaks, refugee camps. They treat people based on need, nothing else. No politics, no borders, no fee.

Last year, the Pega community raised £60,000 — almost exactly the cost of a full MSF inflatable field hospital: a complete, functioning medical facility that can be built in 48 hours and deployed anywhere in the world. That's the kind of impact we're chasing again this year, and every pound gets us closer.

What your donation actually does:

£6 → seven oxygen masks

£10 → eight wound dressings

£17 → two leg splints for fractures

£50 → dressing kits for 42 war-wounded people

£95 → a year's supply of antiretroviral drugs for someone living with HIV

£153 → a basic surgical kit for MSF surgeons

And 86p of every £1 goes directly to medical projects on the ground.

A few hard days on a bike is a small price compared to what MSF's patients face every day in Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine, Yemen, and so many places the world has looked away from. Every pound you give turns our miles into medicine, surgery, and safe births.

Thank you for backing the team. We'll be thinking of every one of you on the hills!
