Memory Walk
Campaign by Alzheimer's Society (RCN 296645)
This year over 110,000 people walk united, against dementia. We aim, with your help to raise over £9 million to help anyone affected by dementia.

Story

We are doing this walk in memory of our Mum and Nani who suffered with Dementia.

Many people have witnessed someone close to them suffer with Alzheimer’s and deteriorate before their very eyes. Our beloved mum and nani was struck by this horrible illness and it was awful seeing her change. One of the heartbreaking things was when she stopped recognising us. I don’t think anything can prepare you for something like that. It feels like you’re losing the person even before they’ve gone.

While these are the unfortunate realities of this illness, the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Society carry out amazing research to help those suffering. Any amount that you donate will make a difference and we hope, ultimately, the research that is funded by fundraising events such as these will result in groundbreaking progress.

Thank you for your kindness, every penny counts.
