Story

This October, Ricky and I are taking on the "100 Miles in October 2026" challenge, each, in support of the National Autistic Society. As parents of a wonderful, clever, autistic child, this cause is deeply personal to us. It is also a chance to turn our determination into action and help make a difference for autistic people and their families.

We are walking 100 miles each throughout the month as a sporting challenge with a meaningful purpose. The National Autistic Society supports around 700,000 autistic people in the UK through specialist schools, campaigning for better rights and services, and helping organisations become more autism-friendly. Their work matters because too many autistic people still face misunderstandings, barriers, and a lack of support. Every person deserves to be understood, respected, and given the opportunity to thrive.

We are fundraising for "100 Miles in October for the National Autistic Society" because we believe change begins with awareness, advocacy, and community support. By donating, you can help strengthen their voice, expand vital services, and build a society that truly works for autistic people and their families.

Please consider making a donation today. Every contribution, whether small or large, will help us stay motivated as we take on this challenge and support a future where autistic people are valued, included, and empowered. Thank you for your support.
