You'll trek to the summit of the UK's tallest mountain in Scotland and enjoy the incredible surroundings before heading back to base for a celebratory dinner!

Story

I am hiking up Ben Nevis to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Britain - the summit is 1345m above sea level.

"Very Steep and Too High" - (Grimtraveller @ Tripadvisor) ⭐

"Oft man, lucky to be alive" - (Adventures-Dave-Swan @ Tripadvisor) ⭐

Going by the reviews on Tripadvisor, it's going to be tricky (and apparently there isn't a cafe at the top or a Mr Whippy en-route?!?!) *swear I didn't think this, read Tripadvisor if you want a laugh* but I am ready to take a piece box and flask up a massive hill.

In all seriousness though, it will be a massive physical and mental challenge for me.

So, why Alzheimer's Society? Well, to cut a long story short, I'm doing this for my Gran. She has been battling with the effects of Alzheimer's for a number of years whist living with family and myself. It is a cause close to my heart and hopefully this fundraiser will mean less people will suffer the effects from this terrible disease in the future. Any donations at all would be greatly appreciated.

P.s - I highly suggest that you do read the bad reviews on Tripadvisor, they are hilarious.
