Hi Everyone,

On the 12th of April this year, Niamh and I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of my grandmother. We would have been celebrating her birthday today. This charity was able to give advice and support to our family as she fought her own battle. Please donate if you feel you can, it does make a difference.

I've never run this far before so it will be a challenge. I aim to push myself and have started training runs despite the weather. Thankfully I have my lovely wife, Niamh, running alongside me, so she'll make sure I keep up the pace!

I have been training these past months - gradually working up to the full distance. I am happy to say that it's getting more enjoyable. Unfortunately Niamh still seems to be faster than me, so I better get my running shoes back on!
