Rachael and Nicky are colleagues at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and they have egged each other on and signed up to take part in the Trust's charity fire walk on the 19th of November.

We're doing this to help raise money for the wonderful causes the Trust's charity supports and it is unfortunate this involves doing something so frightening, but we hope this will help us raise more!

Somerset NHS Charity fundraising has enabled lots of services to improve patient care like the pool car to bring chemotherapy clinics closer to patients homes and music therapy on the wards, and we think its a great cause to support.

The info about the event talks about red hot embers and temperatures of 1200 degrees Fahrenheit, so we are somewhat apprehensive and just a little terrified! If you can, any donation would be hugely appreciated.
