We are running the GNR for my beautiful mam who luckily beat Bowel Cancer and also for a close friend. We are incredibly grateful to be participating as part of #TeamBowelCancerUK in the Great North Run 2026 marathon on 13 September 2026. This event is not just a race for us; it is a heartfelt mission to support Bowel Cancer UK, the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity dedicated to saving lives and improving the quality of life for everyone affected by this disease.

Bowel Cancer UK tirelessly supports and funds targeted research, provides expert information and compassionate support to patients and their families, educates both the public and healthcare professionals about bowel cancer, and campaigns vigorously for early diagnosis and access to the best treatment and care.
