This March, I’ll be running a half marathon for someone who means the world to me and all of our family: my incredible sister-in-law, Emma. Emma is currently battling blood cancer with more strength, grace, and courage than I ever knew was possible. She’s facing this fight head-on at The Royal Marsden, a place that has become a lifeline for her and for all of us who love her.

Anyone who knows Emma, knows what a special person she is. Watching her endure treatment, uncertainty, and the sheer exhaustion that comes with cancer has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. This run is my small way of turning that helpless feeling into something positive — a way to honour her incredible strength, positivity, resilience and to give back to the hospital that is giving her the very best care.
