Breast Cancer Now's wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK and is taking place on 22 October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Story

Breast Cancer Now's wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place on 22 October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people will wear it pink in their communities, schools or workplaces, to help make life-changing research and care happen.

Many of us have been affected by Breast Cancer and the cause is very close to my heart and many others. Therefore as a team, we want to raise money and as much awareness as we can, so we can do our bit to help a charity who have helped so many. Over the past year, people have been diagnosed with the disease at a time when everything from treatment to screenings have been disrupted. This has only made us more determined to make sure we're there to provide support for now and hope for the future.

On Friday the 22nd we are hosting a fundraising event, based in Ashton House Central from 1200hrs onwards. We will be having a raffle with tons of prizes to be won and hopefully some sweet treats for sale with all proceeds going to the charity. So please, come down and join us. Let's raise awareness together!
